ERDF Annual Event on October 18th, 2018
On October 18th, 2018, the ERDF Annual Event 2018 took place in the Steigenwald Stadion in Erfurt with around 200 participants. The event was marked by "Future of the Cohesion Policy after 2020". The event priorities were the interim balance of the OP ERDF 2014-2010, the importance of the cohesion policy for Germany, and the cohesion policy in Europe and Thuringia with an outlook on the new funding period after 2020.
The participants were welcomed by Volker Kurz (Head of the ERDF Administration Authority at the Thuringian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society - TMWWDG).
In the second part of the event, two workshops with panel discussions took place. Workshop 1 on "Research and Innovation" was led by Dr Bernd Ebersold, Head of Department for Research, Technology and Innovation at the TMWWDG.
The second workshop was held on the topic of "Reducing CO2 Emissions". It was led by Dr Martin Gude, Head of Department for Energy and Climate at TMUEN (Thuringian Ministry of Environment, Energy and Nature Conservation).
The ERDF Annual Event was accompanied by information stands run by LEG, TAB, NAThüringen and CEEC Jena.
Zudem wurde die Veranstaltung durch den Künstler Piotr Paluchowski begleitet, der die Inhalte und Ergebnisse in visueller Sprache (sog. Graphic Recording) festgehalten hat.
