ERDF Annual Event 2017

The ERDF Operational Programme (OP) in Thuringia includes ERDF funding totalling €1.165 billion in the 2014-2020 funding period.

ERDF Annual Event 2017

On November 13th, 2017, the ERDF Annual Event 2017 took place at the Congress Centrum Neue Weimar Halle in Weimar with about 200 participants. The event was marked by Priority Axis 2: "Strengthening Competitiveness of Companies". This Priority Axis is endowed with EU funding amounting to 283 million euros. The event's focus was the topic "foundations".

The participants were welcomed by Mr Volker Kurz (Head of the ERDF Administration Authority at the Thuringian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Science and Digital Society-TMWWDG).

In the second part of the event, a panel discussion with entrepreneurs, representatives of bm-t GmbH and the Thuringian Centre for Start-ups and Entrepreneurship (ThEx) took place on the topic ERDF/ESF start-up funding in practice.

The ERDF annual event was accompanied by a photo exhibition showing projects directly linked to one or more funding measures. There was also an information stand of the Thuringia Tourism Network.
