Making the Thüringer Bachwochen, Thuringia's biggest music festival, well known beyond state borders - that is the marketing team's aim. The team, responsible for the 2020/2021 festival marketing concept and its implementation, is thus focusing on German Bach lovers next to an international audience. The festival lineup of extraordinary artists from all parts of the world has sparked great interest and anticipation ahead of the festival.

The famous composer was not only born in Thuringia. He also spent his entire life in the region and created all of his famous masterpieces here. As a result, there is a multitude of authentic Bach sites to be found in Thuringia. Consequently, the concerts taking place as part of the festival will lead the audience to various historic sites of the great master's activity. This way, the Bachwochen Festival is moving Thuringia into a broad public by shedding light on its historical past and its numerous sights in a unique way.

In addition, regional tourism will particularly benefit from the Thüringer Bachwochen e.V. 2020/2021 festival marketing since the classical music event beautifully promotes its development and strengthening. The Free State's aim for the future is to become a modern centre for artists and lovers of classical music from every spot of the world, who are united by one thing – their love and admiration for the works of Johann Sebastian Bach, the great composer and musician.
