Blankenhain

Blankenhain Castle, built around 1150 in the town of the same name (population including all districts - as of 2019: 6,522) dates back to a Romanesque ring house castle. The shape of a closed, irregular oval gives the castle an architectural scarcity value

Jenaer Nahverkehr GmbH (Local Transport)

Jena's local transport has always contributed to an environmentally friendly and livable city. The trams have been running on electricity for almost 120 years. With the help of the funding, the first three fully electric city buses have started regular service.
