Company & Idea: Hako is an internationally leading manufacturer of professional machines and a supplier of service features for cleaning technology and municipal services equipment. This means: Hako ensures clean public spaces. Not only in Thuringia. The company is continually developing its equipment. Hako's headquarters are in Bad Oldesloe near Hamburg. The branch factory in Waltershausen is the competence centre for equipment carriers and transporters. This is where the "Multicar" is manufactured and continuously developed. The factory in Waltershausen won the Thuringian Energy Efficiency Award in 2016 with its "Green Multicar". It is an important trainer in the region. Globally, more than 2,000 employees generate an annual turnover of approx. 440 million euros in more than 60 countries.

Project: Development of a novel intelligent drive and control concept for an energy and resource-saving as well as low-emission, intelligent compact sweeper. Funding is being provided for two further projects in the field of "Technology Transfer".
