With the start of the Conference on Europe's Future, this year's Europe Day will be particularly marked by the participation of citizens. The official opening of the conference takes place on 9 May in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. As of now, all citizens can contribute their ideas for the future of Europe, discuss and participate in events or organise their own events on the conference's digital platform.
Due to the corona pandemic, Europe Week is being held digitally this year. Numerous events have been organised for this purpose, including:
