Self-driving cars are no longer a utopian dream but have already arrived on the roads today. However, this also means that traffic infrastructure needs to be rethought. BUW is working on the development of redundant sensor networks based on collective intelligence. They serve to connect infrastructure and vehicles to make automated driving safe and efficient and spare resources which is also an efficient contribution to environmental protection.
